Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) Compliance

Our priority is to ensure that all of our Teachers, Nursery Nurses, Classroom Assistants and Learning Support Assistants supplied are interviewed and vetted in line with the guidelines set by the DCSF.

Registration Interview:

An in-depth face to face interview with either a Team Leader or Senior Education Consultant is conducted.

Identity Check:

Formal documentation is verified and entered onto our system for reference.

References:

A minimum of 3 references covering a period of at least the last five years working history are taken.

LSA Qualifications Check:

We require and keep a copy on file of the following qualifications:

Teachers: BEd, PGCE, or overseas equivalent as verified by UK NARIC.
Nursery Nurses: DCE, Cache III, NVQ II or BTEC.
Learning Support Assistants may be unqualified or will have a TA certificate or an LEA accredited course.

Visa/Work Permits Check:

A full visa and work permit check is performed on all Now Education's candidates.

Health Check:

All candidates complete and sign a health declaration.

Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure:

We apply for enhanced disclosures for all candidates. Overseas Teachers also need to provide with us an original equivalent police check from their country of origin.
