We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large NHS Trust for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer on a long term interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest teams of its type in the Greater London area. Qualified to degree level the successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary professional team providing project design and management on the Trust`s current and future projects. You will be required to carry out day-to-day project management and co-ordination of the electrical engineering aspects of the new build and refurbishment projects. The role will also require you to coordinate and maintain the assembly of Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Test Certificates and As-Built drawings for all completed projects. You will conduct electrical surveys, investigations and feasibility studies for both refurbishment and new build projects whilst diagnosing electrical related faults for the production of preliminary proposals and documented assessment of Health & Safety risks. The successful applicant will carry out the full design and production of detailed electrical specifications, drawings and contract documentation. You will manage the construction and commissioning of engineering services for building projects including agreeing related costs.
