As a progressive Head Contractor our client has 6 offices throughout NSW & Queensland specialising in New Build & Refurbish within the Commercial, Aged care, Schools, Governmental and Health arenas.
Strong ties in the Government sector means they have an excellent portfolio of quality projects secured whilst this means their OH&S and Quality Assurance systems are of the highest importance.
The role:
Based in the office you will be reporting directly into the Project Manager assisting in the delivery of a number of projects in the Commercial, Governmental and Health sectors ranging from $1M to $20M in Construction value.
With a strong contracts & financial's understanding you will be conversant in the complete construction process from planning & tender letting to completion on site including RFI's, variations, cost reporting and project close out.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years construction experience with 2 of those in a Quantity Surveyors/Contracts Administrator position with the Head Contractor. You will have a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline. Previous experience working with the Government organisations as the client, would also be advantageous.
Visa Status:
Their maybe an opportunity for a work 457 visa sponsorship with this business, however interested parties should have already investigated visa options i.e skilled migrant visa or working holiday visa before applying.
