Senior Estimator - Building Construction

Our client is one the leading Construction Companies in the UK. With an annual turnover of £2billion, and an expertise in specific market sectors such as: Commercial, Education, Health, Industrial and Leisure.
They now have an exciting opportunity based at their Birmingham office for a Senior Estimator, reporting directly to the Estimating Manager.
The ideal candidate will have worked on projects upto £25m.

? Able to maintain cost data
? Ability to co-ordinate the tender process
? Ability to develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers
? Able to identify areas of risk and opportunity
? Good knowledge of market place and competitors
? Good computer skills
? Good level of technical expertise
? Good teamworker
? Flexible approach
? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
? Able to prioritise
Responsibilities
? Produce an accurate prime cost for the project
? Co-ordinate the tender process
? Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
? Identify areas of risk and opportunity
? Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
? Develop knowledge of market place and competitors
