Urgently Required - Financial Analyst - 6 Month Contract A vacancy has arisen for a leading Financial Services organisation based in the Gwent area. Working alongside a team of accountants will be required to provide ad hoc support, identify improvements to systems and processes to achieve increased efficiency with financial reporting. Key responsibilities will include: 1) Loading and manipulating data within the system to provide the quality of output required to support the business and its day to day functional requirements 2) Monitor and control data used by the team to ensure calculations made meet ongoing customer, IT security and regulatory demands 3) Support the managers to produce detailed user requirements, helping to test and implement changes to the planning and reporting systems 4) Provide financial information, interpretation, analysis and support to the team to improve their understanding of the information manipulated from the system The suitable candidate will ideally have a financial services background, with a firm understanding and experience of using advanced Excel, VBA language and SQL and OLAP tools.
