We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer for an important client who are expanding into the realm of commercial contracting after prolonged success as commercial maintenance contractors nationwide. Expanding on the company's success in commercial contracting (design & build) throughout England, they are looking to continue to grow their reputation in Scotland. Based in Livingston, West Lothian, the company require a dynamic and driven Mechanical Project Engineer to operate across the entire sphere of the design and build process. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of mechanical estimating for large scale commercial builds and must be able to oversee the project to completion. Managing stock, labour and efficiency are paramount as well as a solid overall knowledge of mechanical installations and the current construction enviroment.
The ideal candidate will have a full clean driving license as company car will be provided with the post. Salary is competitive and generous depending on experience. Proven experience in a similar post would be beneficial as well as a track record of holding responsibility over projects to a value of over £1million.
