GENERAL FOREMAN - WEST MIDLANDS - SOCIAL HOUSING REFURBISHMENT
circa £25k + bonus + vehicle + pension + healthcare + 25 days + statutory hols
Our client specialising in the refurbishment of local authority housing stock seeks a General Foreman due to continued growth.
You will assist with the profitable planning, management and control of all site based activities within budgeted cost and in accordance with contract documents.
You will assess and co-ordinate labour and plant resources, ensuring that correct materials for the works are available on site, co-ordinate subcontract activities, check quality of work, ensure handovers are achieved on or before programme, determine the most effective methods of working. You must also ensure that all variations to contract are recorded and details passed to the Site Manager or Contracts Manager, monitor Health and Safety on site, and control waste on site.
