Site Manager
An industry leading contractor is looking to expand their growing team with a Site Manager to be No.1 on new build and refurbishment projects for educational buildings in the Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:
? Active management of the construction process at site level on Design & Build projects.
? Manage and implement the whole quality process in accordance with the Quality Plan.
? Be responsible and co-operate with the Project Manager to ensure work is planned and undertaken in accordance with the Project Safety, Health and Environmental Plan.
? Undertake daily shop shift meeting and site inductions in rota with other managers
? Ensure all contractors and subcontractors undertake risk assessments, establish, demonstrate and maintain safe systems of work as part of developing SHE programme.
? Ensure that the subcontractor suppliers contractual programmes are within the required timescale.
? Monitor the progress of work against programme and advise on acceleration measures to retrieve any lost time.
? Responsible for contractual matters relating to Sub-contractors and necessary correspondence is raised and record keeping
? Chair weekly sub contractors meeting and attend client meetings (as required)
? Be pro-active in obtaining design information with required time-scales for production work.
? Plan, organise, implement, review and monitor their procedures with respect to Environmental impact.
? Overall responsibility for the implementation of the Project Environmental Plan within the working area.
? Ensure that all sub contractors and suppliers plans and procedures are compatible with the discharge of the client`s obligations and responsibilities.
The successful candidate with have experience in new build and refurbishment projects to education buildings up to £3m
