One of Britain`s leading construction specialists are looking for an experienced Site Engineer.
The Client:
Operating in London since 1882 they have played a significant part in shaping the landscape of London and have been responsible for some of the city`s most prominent buildings.
Today they specialise in the building, restoration and maintenance of some of Britain`s most prestigious properties. With their in-depth knowledge, experience and skills they are able to deliver the whole project - from initial concept to completion, and beyond should it be required.
The Role:
setting out (marking the position of structures) and levelling the site;
surveying the site;
checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work;
overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant or package contractors for use in the construction.
planning the work and efficiently organising package contractors in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines;
liaise with any consultants and/or sub-contractors engaged in the project;
attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress;
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have 5-10 years experience as an engineer on refurbishment projects
Be a good communicator on all levels
Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
